We would like to invite you to our international conference Professional Training Facts 2010 “Learning – Competence – Performance”. The conference takes place for the sixth time at the Fraunhofer Institute for Industrial Engineering in Stuttgart on the 20th and 21st of October 2010.

Competence management today and tomorrow

Due to the constantly changing requirements of the markets, companies have to react faster and faster and need to be informed about current trends and solutions to be able to integrate these changes successfully into the company’s development. On these topics more than 30 international and national speakers from economy and research will introduce methods, concepts and strategies how the triad of “Learning – Competence – Performance” can be organized today and in the future.

Implement competence management successfully

The conference offers the possibility to acquaint oneself with tools and approaches of competence management, also under the aspect of effort and benefit concerning company performance. In addition, successful practice examples will provide an overview about possible solutions and may serve as an impulse for own operational questions.

Dialog and exchange

Furthermore, the conference offers a forum to exchange experiences and information concerning personnel and organisational development with both colleagues and experts. Moreover, this forum can be used to extend networks in the national and international scene of further education.

Target groups

Organisational decision-makers, experts from the educational sector as well as from the private and public sector and from applied research.

The main conference language is English. Furthermore, there will be numerous additional tracks and offers in German.

The conference fee for both days amounts to 495 €. Early Bird Rate: Those registering by 30th of July 2010 pay a reduced fee of 395 € for attendance of both days.

Turbulent markets make it necessary for companies to adapt to new demands in a rapid way. An intelligent organisational and personnel development plays a central role in coping with this strategic management task. To keep companies competitive in this challenging environment it is necessary to build up, to maintain and to develop the competences of employees and organisational units. The challenge is to bring into relation the management of competences with the performance of the company and to adapt in-company learning and competence development processes appropriately.
These current developments and topics are the subject of the international Professional Training Facts conference which takes place on 17th and 18th of November 2009 and is organised by Fraunhofer IAO for the fifth time in succession. The conference offers practitioners and developers a forum for the exchange of information and experiences from organisational and personnel development. On the agenda are new trends and challenges as well as solutions and practice examples from a company perspective. Speakers from companies and research institutions present methods, concepts and strategies how to design the "Learning - Competence - Performance" triad for today and the future.Target groups
