09.06.2010 by Raptivity Harbinger provider
New Release 5.6 Enhances Essential Pack Interactions, Supports Videos Among Other Media Types

Harbinger Knowledge Products has recently revamped Raptivity learning interactions for supporting Section 508 guidelines. Raptivity, the award-winning eLearning software, allows trainers, educators and subject matter experts to create learning interactions quickly and easily.

The new release 5.6 provides accessibility support for all the interactions in Raptivity Essential Pack. Now the users buying the Raptivity software will get a set of 35 interactions which provide support according to Section 508 compliance guidelines. Apart from this, the new release also includes support for videos along with text and other media types such as pictures and audio for the interactions in Raptivity Essential Pack.

“It’s a tough task to follow the long list of guidelines for making eLearning courses Section 508 compliant. When it comes to visually appealing and meaningful interactions, the task is even harder. Raptivity has yet again proved its leadership in the area of interactivity by offering pre-built interactions which are compliant with Section 508 guidelines. Thousands of eLearning designers worldwide, especially those in the federal government agencies, will surely find this very useful”, said Seema Chaudhary, President, Harbinger Knowledge Products, Inc.

A fad swept through corporate training and development during the last decade following top-selling books such as "Now, Discover Your Strengths" by Marcus Buckingham and Donald Clifton and a parade of subsequent titles on "strengths-based development." The strengths movement maintains that fixing weaknesses is a mistake because the only way to achieve greatness is by building on strengths.
